Cross-country skiing

Those who prefer cross-country have an ideal starting point for hiking tours to the highest peak of the Czech Republic – Sněžka. The cross–country tracks are connected to the Giant Mountain's artery, which passes directly through the area of the Friesovy boudy. The tracks are trimmed twice a week, or more frequently in case of snow calamities. The total length of conditioned tracks in the area is 42.7 km. Two trimmed circuits with different elevations are available. Every skier can thus make up his/her mind according to their current fitness and use cross-country trails of various difficulties. A free tourist map is available to the hotel guests at the reception desk.

Sled and bobsleigh track

The area also includes a sled track built of natural snow, which will satisfy all fans of just-above-the-snow speed.
